Ivon Viola Snow Weatherford, 90, of Pocahontas, died Saturday, June 27, 2020, at home, surrounded by family.

She was born May 25, 1930, in Pocahontas, to Freeman and Virgie Snow. Ivon was a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and aunt.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leon Weatherford; son, Johnnie Strange; grandsons, Jason Martin and Jesse King; sister, Eva Snow; and brother, Harold Snow.

Ivon is survived by two daughters, Pearl Martin and Sherry (Kenneth) King, all of Pocahontas; daughter-in-law, Mary Strange of Del Rio, Texas; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Snow of Pocahontas; sister, Mary Horsman of Rockford, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews.

There are no services scheduled at this time. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
