Jerry L. Graham, 80, of Portia, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

He was born Sept. 10, 1940, in the Clear Lake Community of Arkansas to Henry Graham and Millie Butler Graham. He was a loving husband. He worked at Colson’s in Jonesboro for 38 years before retiring. He loved to garden. He was a devoted Christian man who loved to work in the church and was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Millie; wife, Betty Gawf Graham; brothers, Leonard, J.F. and Bob Graham; sisters, Deliah Crowley and Linda June Graham.

He is survived by sisters, Pat (Bobby) Barr of Cave City, Wanda Barr of Paragould, and Glenda (Jeff) McMurtry of Grapevine; brothers, Doc (Donnie) Graham of Portia, Buddy Graham of St. Louis, and Dillon (Maude) Graham of Woodlawn; and numerous other family and friends.

Visitation was Thursday, April 1, from 6-8 p.m. at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Funeral services were Friday, April 2, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Roger Brand officiating. Burial was in Lawrence Memorial Park under direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge and Lynn.
