John Martin Chancellor, 52, of Walnut Ridge, died May 18, 2021, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge.

Born October 2, 1968, in Lutesville, Mo., he was the son of the late John Sr. and Roslee McAlpin Chancellor. He worked as a CNA, and enjoyed collecting antiques, going to flea markets, yard sales and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Lester McAlpin; and three sisters, Wanda Kilpatrick, Ester Kurtz and Gwen McAlpin.

Survivors include two brothers, Alfred McAlpin of Walnut Ridge, and Daniel McAlpin of Pocahontas; two sisters, Lena Norman of Marshall, Texas, and Martha Wilburn of Walnut Ridge; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside service was Saturday, May 22, at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery near Campbell, Mo., with Rev. Donald Ray Hancock officiating.

Pallbearers were family and friends.

Visitation was Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Bryan Funeral Home.
