Kenny Wayne Tyler, 66, of Hoxie, died suddenly on April 22, 2021, in Hoxie.

Born Oct. 1, 1954, in Walnut Ridge, he was the son of the late, Chester L. and Francis Golden Tyler. He was united in marriage to Betty Carol Rainwater on Dec. 14, 1974. Kenny was a Hoxie City employee of over 20 years and he took great pride in taking care of the city and helping all of his neighbors. He enjoyed fishing, working on his old truck; and watching and learning about history and previous wars.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Tom Tyler; and a sister, Janice Tyler.

Survivors include his wife, Betty, of the home; two sons, Willis (Cristy) Tyler of Jonesboro and Steven (Arelsie) Tyler of Miami, Fla.; two grandchildren, Reid and Scarlett Tyler; one sister, Lisa Tyler of Indianapolis, Ind.; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation was Friday, April 30, from 6-8 p.m. at Bryan Chapel. His request was to be cremated following his service.
