Erastus Levi Milgrim, 87, of Jonesboro, died Aug. 11, 2020, at his residence.

Born Oct. 5, 1932, in Annieville, he was the son of the late Charles Henry and Pearl Victorie Wray Milgrim. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving time in Korea. Upon returning stateside, he married the love of his life, Irene Neal Milgrim on June 1, 1956. He was a jack-of-all-trades, working in plumbing, electrical work and construction. He retired from Barton’s Lumber Company.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, David Levi Milgrim; three brothers, Jewel, Dale and Charles Milgrim; three sisters, Mable Ward, Jessie Duckworth and Mary Frances Sutter.

Survivors include his wife, Irene, of the home; one son, James Micheal (Valerie Ann) Milgrim of Jonesboro; one daughter, Tammy Eubanks of Oak Grove Heights; five grandsons, Jason (Amanda) Eubanks, Bobby (Ashley) Eubanks, Travis (Jacklin) Eubanks, Dillion Micheal (Ruth Ellen Ward) Milgrim and Nathan Levi Milgrim; seven great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside service was Monday, Sept. 14, at 10 a.m. at Lawrence Memorial Park with Bro. Harold Russell officiating. Bryan Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Bobby Joe, Travis, Jason and Landon Eubanks, David Lynch and Dillion Milgrim.
