Roxie Loretta Galbreath, 87, of Simsboro, La., passed away, Friday, Jan. 1, 2021.

She was born May 3, 1933, at Egypt, to James Ed and Kathleen Loretta (Smith) Combs. Roxie married Robert Galbreath on April 11, 1951, and had been married for 69 years. She enjoyed fishing, taking long drives and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her husband; son, Robert E. Galbreath and spouse Debora, of Louisiana; nephew, Jimmy Jean Waldrupt of Imboden; grandchildren, Bryan Galbreath, Shanna Mooney and her spouse, Tonja Galbreath, and Jamie Galbreath; nine great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held today, Jan. 6, at 10 a.m. at Markham Cemetery in Egypt.

Pallbearers will be family friends, Doug Parsons, Bill Parsons and Chris Hanson; nephew, Jimmy Waldrupt; and great-grandsons, Jonathan Williams and Jacob Trowbridge. Great-grandson Craig Williams will be an honorary pallbearer.

Visitation was held Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
