Teddy Joe Harmon, 74, of Hoxie, died May 26, 2021, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

Born Sept. 18, 1946, in Walnut Ridge, he was the son of the late Jake Tillman Lewis Harmon and Lucille Rice. He was united in marriage to Christine Causey on Sept. 27, 1975. He was a butcher by trade and worked most his life in the restaurant and meat industries.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Eric Harmon.

Survivors include his wife, Christine; six children, Paula Wilson, Teddy Joe Harmon Jr., both of Walnut Ridge, Michael (Victoria) Harmon of Hoxie, Jeremy (Diana) Harmon, Robert (T.J.) Harmon and Carrie Harmon, all of Tulsa, Okla.; eight grandchildren; one sister, Shirley (Steve) Rodgers of Paragould; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services were Saturday, at 1 p.m. at Whittaker Cemetery in Hoxie. Pallbearers were his family and friends.
