Thomas Ray Hufstedler Jr., 56, of Black Rock passed from this life on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at his residence.

He was born Aug. 10, 1964, in Shreveport La., to Thomas Ray Sr. and Shirley Gaude Hufstedler. Thomas was a steel worker during his life and was of the Christian belief. He loved cooking and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Sheila Ann Hufstedler; and granddaughter, Ember.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 28 years, Patricia; a son, Chance Hufstedler of Pocahontas; stepdaughters, Katy Strickland of Walnut Ridge, and Misty Collins of Pocahontas; a brother, Robert Hufstedler (Vicky) of Hardy; and a sister, Dianna Fuchs of Harrison; grandchildren, Blaze, Cole, Davian, Kelly, Aleia, Joseph and Dillon; a niece, Faith Hufstedler; and nephews, Thomas Hufstedler, Dustin Hufstedler, Billy Ray Hufstedler, James Hufstedler and Jacob Lindsey.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
