Virginia Alline Davis Dear-Lewis, 68, of Imboden, died Thursday, July 23, 2020, at St. Bernards Medical Center.

She was born March 15, 1952, in Memphis, to W. Odel Davis and Alline Woodward Davis. She was the matriarch of a loving and diverse family. She was a retired nurse and teacher and was of Baptist belief.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Diane Young; and husband, Gerald E. Cummings.

She is survived by husband, Perry Lewis; daughters, Patricia (Mark) Reihm, Jenny (Becky) Yun, and Cindy Lewis; sons, Gerald (Letitia) Cummings, Chris Lewis and daughter of the heart, Ariel (Matthew) Loring; brothers, W. Odel Davis (Carolyn) and John Davis (Jean); sister, Agnes Taylor (Leon); 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Visitation was Sunday, July 26, from 6-8 p.m. at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Funeral services were Monday, July 27, at 3 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church with by Dr. Gerald Cummings, Jerry Clements and W. Odel Davis officiating. Interment was in Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
