Willie Blazer Jr., 69, of Alicia, died suddenly April 14, 2021, at his residence in Summit.

Born April 26, 1951, in Lawrence County, he was the son of the late Willie Sr. and Lucille Hawkins Blazer. He was a road worker for Lawrence County. He enjoyed collecting marbles and arrowheads, and going fishing and to yard sales. He was a family man and was of the Baptist faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sandy Blazer; a son, Gary Blazer; a daughter, Kim Blazer; and two sisters, Retha and Freida Blazer.

Survivors include his significant other, Evie Shreeman, of the home; two sons, Jay Joslin of Alicia and Robert Lawson of Mountain Home; two daughters, Ellie Shreeman of Green Forrest, Mo., and Kayleen Caviness of Bruno; 13 grandchildren; and a cousin, Wilma McElrath of Hoxie; and many other relatives and friends.

Private services were held at Haynes Cemetery near Swifton.
