Wilma Ruth Smith Griffin, 88, of Ravenden, passed away Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020, at her residence.

She was born Feb. 22, 1932, in Ravenden Springs, to the late Tom and Lula May Smith. She married Albert Leroy Griffin on Aug. 14, 1950, in Pocahontas. Wilma was a loving wife and mother. She was of the Baptist belief.

She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; four sisters; and son-in-law, Mike Cooper.

She is survived by her husband, Leroy Griffin, of the home; her son, Lynn Griffin (Mary) of Ravenden; daughter, Kathy Cooper of Ravenden Springs; brother, Butler Smith of Pocahontas; and sister, Lena Ready of Illinois; grandchildren, Christopher Griffin (Dianna), Seth Griffin (Paula), Leslie Bryant (Jamie), Casey Griffin, Jeff Cooper (Jennifer), Vicky Cooper and Jared Cooper; great-grandchildren, Meghan, Hannah, Keely, Keiran, Zackary, Tristan, Ellie, Charlie, Carson, Jax, Emerson, Dillion, Austin and Hudson; great-great-grandchildren, Jaidyn, Jaxon, Mason, Keeland Lane and Corbin.

No services are planned at this time. Cox Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge had charge of arrangements.
