The Walnut Ridge Choral Department / Fire Department float, Snoopy’s Christmas, was featured in both the Hoxie and Walnut Ridge Christmas parades in 1992. The float was designed by Roger Duckworth and Joe Coker of the Walnut Ridge Fire Department. The Walnut Ridge Choral Department helped decorate the float, which took approximately three weeks to build. (Pictures of the Past is a cooperative effort of The Times Dispatch and the Lawrence County Historical Society. Readers are encouraged to submit historic photos.)
