The Walnut Ridge senior high volleyball team concluded the 2020 regular season by sweeping a doubleheader from Cave City on Oct. 13. The Lady Bobcats won the first match, 25-15, 25-20, 25-23 and took the nightcap 25-12, 25-21, 25-7.

Tyler Fraley, who was a national champion wrestler for Williams Baptist University, has returned to the WBU wrestling program as assistant coach. Head wrestling coach Todd Allen announced the addition of Fraley to his staff.

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced that 41 Williams Baptist University student-athletes have been named as Scholar Athletes for the 2019-20 school year. In addition, the Eagles had 11 teams recognized as NAIA Scholar teams.
