The Sloan-Hendrix cross-country track team competed in the 2A State Meet on Thursday in Hot Springs.

The Sloan-Hendrix boys placed fifth overall with 124 points. Davis Smith was the highest finisher among the Greyhounds, placing 16th. Joel Hoffman finished 18th and Dylan Bounds was 24th. Xander Gholson placed 29th, followed by Dustin Folk in 54th, and Anthony Holland was 80th.

In the girls division, Lady Greyhound Autumn Smith finished in 14th place, and Vivica Smith placed 48th.

The cross-country coach is Ricky Grisham, who is assisted by Jessie Powell.
