The Walnut Ridge senior high basketball teams each staged fourth-quarter rallies to earn road wins over 3A-3 conference rival Corning on Feb. 9.

In the girls game, Walnut Ridge trailed 29-23 after three quarters before exploding for 27 points in the final quarter to record a 50-49 victory.

Bailey Augustine led Walnut Ridge with 30 points, and Chloe Davis added 13 points.

In boys action, Walnut Ridge defeated Corning 63-61.

Ty Flippo and Jayden Hollister each put in 22 points, and Kel Slusser added 10 points for Walnut Ridge, who trailed 35-32 at the end of three quarters.
